Our experience together with the years of practice in the field of
vermiculture, plus the valuable contributions of our joined breeders,
made us plunge into a correspondence course of itensive worm breeding, ensuring that we are capable of transmiting all the knowledge practically,
easily and comprehensibly, intended to anyone who wishes to start
this activity.

Our objective is to enable you to implement the techniques in the
proper management of a breeding site for californian worms and in
the production of vermicompost, allowing you to obtain economic benefits.
With the focus on this general objective, at the end of the course you will
be able to:

• Get aquainted with the anatomical structure of the red californian worm and its life cycle.

• Identify the different types of organic waste and the relationship carbon-nitrogen (C/N).

• Know the factors that participate in the process of vermiculture composting.

• Carry out the different phases of the technique for the production of vermicompost.

• Perform a basic economic analysis of your productive enterprise.

• Analyze and select commercialization alternatives for the vermicultural products.

All these objectives being accomplished, you will be capable of taking the neccesary decisions to go ahead, successfully, with the programme of intensive breeding of worms you select.
